Community Care Workshops

Community meet ups restoring connection with each other and the planet we live in.

“Joining Pilipinas Journal’s gatherings (whether they are communities, talks, or workshops) feels like walking on a safe & secure bridge to find friends you haven’t met yet waiting on the other side. I personally felt so held by the spaces Z has created and the kinds of people that are drawn to her vocation & wisdom. Her dynamic personality & compassionate spirit brings out the light in everyone who meets her. I can with certainty say that every person who attends her gatherings comes out of them feeling as though their world grew just a little bit bigger.” – Ally Publico, Author & Artist

– Robin Fela, Visioning Workshop Attendee

Gabay Guro

A WORKSHOP DEDICATED FOR EDUCATORS

Now more than ever, educators from all backgrounds require support. Driven by their desire to impact lives and effect change, educators encounter a range of challenges, including burnout, insufficient resources, and communities fraught with difficulties, divisions, grief, and trauma.

While the work they do is meaningful, noble, and crucial, it can take a toll on their health and well-being. How can we, as educators, continue to thrive and make a difference in the face of these complexities within our school communities?

Our Gabay Guro is specifically designed to assist educators in healing, strengthening, and developing in their profession. Through immersive sessions, we will explore the issues faced by educators and equip ourselves with tools for promoting positive well-being. These sessions will involve experiential practices, breakout discussions, and takeaways based on research to empower us in our journey as educators.
